The Minister Delegate at the Presidency of the Republic In charge of the Supreme Audit Office, Henri Eyebe Ayissi, this Monday February 17, 2014 presided over the opening ceremony of a training workshop on performance audit for some technical personnel of CONSUPE.
The training had as one of principal objective to provide a forum of exchange and transfer of auditing techniques and approaches recommended for performance audit.
It also enhanced the elaboration of an action plan to facilitate the adoption of techniques and approaches in financial auditing amongst Supreme Audit Institutions just to name a few.
Speaking after the opening ceremony, Minister Henri Eyebe Ayissi, highlighted that performance audit makes it possible for auditors to evaluate if the expected added value commanded by projects of the public investment budget has been attained.
In this light, such training provide the CONSUPE technical team with extra capacity to continue from the regular control missions to evaluation and performance missions.
The workshop organized by CREFIAF (Regional Training Board of the Supreme Audit Institutions of Sub-Saharan French-speaking Africa) and culminated on Friday 28th February 2014.
